Queen Mother Champion Chase 2012 - Sizing Europe Heads 19 Initial Runners
The Queen Mother Champion Chase is a Grade 1 Chase for five year old’s and above racehorses and is the feature race on day two of the Cheltenham Festival. It is run over a distance of two tough miles over the Cheltenham Festival course and there are a total of twelve fences 4 feet high, to be jumped. Sizing Europe has won the Tingle Creek Chase in style at Sandown and has been slashed in the betting to win the Champion Chase for a second successive year.
The Champion Chase Odds are looking competitive behind Sizing Europe with 2010 winner Big Zeb one to keep an eye on. He was below his best in the race last season but may have enough in the tank for another successful campaign for trainer Colm Murphy and connections.
