All eyes in 2013 will be on Sizing Europe who was a memorable winner of the Queen Mother Champion Chase lin 2011. The Henry De Bromhead horse produced a thrilling display to claim the win and he is a horse that clearly loves to run around Cheltenham. The horse won the arkle Chase at the Festival in 2010 before winning the Champion Chase in 2011 so clearly hits his best form in the spring.

Connections have long been convinced that Sizing Europe will be better over further than two miles but after one or two tries at the extended trip it appears that he will drop back to two miles for the Champion Chase. This comes after he hacked up recently to win the Tingle Creek Chase in style at Sandown and he is without doubt the one to beat in the Champion Chase Betting at the Festival. At the moment he looks too good for the field based on his current form but he is sure to face a stiff challenge from a good field with a number of younger chasers making their way towards Cheltenham.

Sizing Europe has already proven himself something of a Cheltenham Festival legend with those two wins in-a-row in the Arkle and Champion Chase and a third this season would all but asure him a place in the record books.
